AndaSeat Phantom 4 Series Offers Adaptive Ergonomic Seating for Dynamic Movement

Date:

The AndaSeat Phantom 4 Series introduces a new approach to ergonomic seating by accommodating the natural movements of users as they work, game, or read. Recognizing that people rarely maintain a single sitting position, the Phantom 4 is designed to provide continuous support while allowing for natural shifts in posture.

A standout feature of the Phantom 4 is the Dynamic Auto-Tracking Lumbar system, which offers users 15 locking positions within a 0–95 mm adjustment range for personalized lumbar support. This system can swivel approximately 5 degrees to either side and tilt 25 degrees forward and back, adapting to the user’s changing torso positions.

The seating platform combines this responsive lumbar support with a 55 kg/m³ cold-cure foam seat for a stable base. Both the Phantom 4 and Phantom 4 Pro models enable up to 135 degrees of backrest recline and around 15 degrees of rocking, promoting deliberate changes in seating posture.

Differences between the two models include varying levels of manual adjustments. The Phantom 4 includes 2D armrests with forward-back and vertical adjustments, an adjustable memory-foam head pillow, and a butterfly tilt mechanism. Meanwhile, the Phantom 4 Pro enhances these features with 3D 360-degree rotating armrests, added adjustment ranges, and a multi-function tilt mechanism with tilt-lock functionality.

AndaSeat’s design philosophy focuses on creating a stable foundation while allowing components to adapt to smaller movements without trying to control every motion. This approach ensures that the Phantom 4 Series is tailored to how people naturally sit, rather than assuming a fixed posture throughout extended periods of use.
